Tom Heinemann / Danish

Tom Heinemann has been working as an independent investigative journalist for more than 19 years. Two time awarded as "Outstanding Investigative Journalist" by the association on investigative journalism in Denmark (FUJ). Three times runner up for "Journalist of the year" in Denmark (Cavling). In 2007 he won the Prix Italia in the current affairs selection. His films has been sold all over the world, and he has received numerous awards for his work on global issues.

Ballroom : Investigating Carbon Crooks

In this training session, Tom Heinemann, independent award-winning Danish journalist and filmmaker talks about his latest controversial climate protection documentary "The Carbon Crooks". The recently-released documentary reveals how rich countries are buying Carbon Credits from poorer countries to reach the goals set in the second part of the Kyoto Protocol and maximize theft and fraud engulfing the carbon industry.
